What the stand put in front of buyers — and what a specification sheet still cannot show.
APPPEXPO 2026 ran 4–7 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, with the LDCUT stand in Hall 2.2 at booth A1037. The 2026 theme, CONNECT · CREATE · CHANGE, is a fair description of what a digital flatbed cutter does to a production floor: it takes the die out of the process, rewrites the make-ready step, and changes what size of run is worth quoting.
The demo ran all four days. A cutter was set up on the stand and fed the material mix a signage or packaging shop actually works with — corrugated board, foam board, self-adhesive vinyl and rigid sheet. Visitors watched the tool head change over between materials with no die change, saw how a kiss cut leaves the liner intact on adhesive stock, and checked the edge on the finished part. That is the reason to see the machine in person: a specification sheet can list a cutting speed, but only a live cut shows how the tool behaves at the corner of the material, how the path holds across a short run, and how quickly the workflow moves from file to finished part.
The useful conversations start when a buyer brings their own material. That is why the stand keeps a cutting table running instead of a slideshow: a sheet of corrugated, a piece of printed vinyl or a length of rigid board settles in one cut what a catalogue cannot. LDCUT has manufactured digital cutting equipment since 2004 and supplies 3,000+ enterprise clients across 80+ countries. Every machine ships after a 24–48 hour pre-shipment stability test and carries a 1-year warranty — a show is where that record stops being a number on a page.
APPPEXPO closed on 7 March. Ten days later, LDCUT set up the same cutting programme at DPES CHINA in Guangzhou, where it ran for three more days.
