Creasing cutting tool. Professional creasing tool, providing precise creases for cardboard, cardstock and other materials, improving packaging forming quality
Kiss cut tool. Precise kiss-cut technology, cuts only surface material without damaging backing paper, suitable for precise separation of multi-layer materials
V-cutting tool. V-cut technology, creates V-grooves on material surface, facilitating folding and forming, especially suitable for thick boards
Common questions about the LDCUT L8 digital flatbed cutter.
The LDCUT L8 processes flexible and semi-rigid materials — corrugated board, foam board, honeycomb board, PVC, vinyl, grey board, and more — using five interchangeable tool heads (EOT, DCT, CCT, KCT, VCT). It cuts from 0.1 mm up to 50 mm thick at ±0.01 mm accuracy.
All LDCUT models support five quick-swap tool heads: EOT (oscillating knife) for thick materials up to 50 mm, DCT (drag knife) for thin films and vinyl (0.1–3 mm), CCT (creasing) for cartons, KCT (kiss-cut) for labels and stickers, and VCT (V-cut) for grooving. Heads swap in under 3 minutes, so you can switch processes on one machine. Not sure which to use? Share your material with our team for a recommendation.
The LDCUT L8 reaches a maximum idle travel speed of 120 m/min, with ±0.01 mm processing accuracy, 0.025 mm CCD camera resolution, and Leadshine brushless full servo drives. Actual cutting speed depends on material, tool head, and pattern complexity.
The LDCUT L8 serves packaging and box making, signage and advertising, print finishing, foam fabrication, and automotive component cutting. Its die-less workflow suits both short-run prototyping and high-volume production.
