Three Days in Hall W4

The 28th edition of the Shanghai International Advertising Exhibition — and three days of live cutting on the stand.

  • Booth C07-W4, Hall W4 — SNIEC, Pudong
  • Three days of live cutting on the stand, 15–17 September
  • Signage and advertising buyers: vinyl, foam board and rigid sheet

SIGN CHINA 2026 ran 15–17 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Pudong, and the LDCUT stand sat in Hall W4 at booth C07-W4. This is the 28th edition of the Shanghai International Advertising Exhibition, and its 2026 line — Global Visions, Shaping the Future of Signage — points at the change a digital flatbed cutter brings to a signage shop: the die, the make-ready and the minimum order quantity give way to a file and a cutting table.

Signage is where the material mix is widest and the runs are shortest. A single shop cuts self-adhesive vinyl, PVC foam board, rigid sheet and corrugated board in the same week, often in quantities a die cannot justify. The stand kept a cutter running for three days on that same spread of materials, so visitors could compare tool behaviour across substrates in one sitting instead of across four separate quotations. A kiss cut leaves the liner intact on adhesive stock; a through cut separates the part cleanly on foam board and rigid sheet.

What a buyer actually checks on the stand is narrow and practical. Does the kiss cut stop where it should on vinyl? Is the cut edge clean on a printed board? Does the table repeat the same part on the hundredth cut exactly as it did on the first? None of those questions survive a catalogue. They need material, a tool head and a bed — which is why the stand runs live cutting rather than a slideshow, and why the useful conversations start when a visitor hands over their own stock.

LDCUT has manufactured digital cutting equipment since 2004 and supplies 3,000+ enterprise clients across 80+ countries. Every machine ships after a 24–48 hour pre-shipment stability test and carries a 1-year warranty.

The LDCUT Digital Flatbed Cutter Range

Five models, four platform sizes, one interchangeable tool-head system. The material decides the tool head; the production volume decides the model.
