CXPE Xiamen 2026 — also run as 2026 Printing-China — ran 8–10 August at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, where the LDCUT booth was A430. The show is billed as a printing, packaging and corrugated color box industry expo, which puts the stand in front of converters and carton producers rather than sign shops.

Corrugated and folding carton work is where die-free cutting pays back fastest: short runs of a box style that a die cannot justify, samples turned around inside a day, and design changes that cost a file edit instead of a new die. The stand ran the same live-cut programme as LDCUT's other 2026 stands — corrugated board, foam board, self-adhesive vinyl and rigid sheet — with the tool head changing over between materials without a die change. Visitors could hand over their own board and watch the finished part come off the table.

The questions a packaging buyer brings to a stand are narrow and practical. Is the cut edge clean on a printed board? Does the path hold its tolerance on a corrugated sheet? Can the table repeat the same part on the hundredth cut exactly as it did on the first? A specification sheet cannot answer any of those; a bed, a tool head and a sheet of the buyer's own board can. That is the whole reason to see the machine in person rather than in a catalogue.
